The Guild Story...
   
The Ardmore Art Guild was organized July 2, 1986 with a group of 15 Ardmore-area artists as charter members.
     Our mission is to encourage and promote the creative work of our registered members and to bring our members into direct contact with outstanding artists, art teachers, lecturers and demonstrators.

Meetings...
     Monthly meetings are held on the third Monday of each month, September through May.  Installation of Officers occurs at the July annual meeting. Meetings begin at 9 a.m. with a program, demonstration or class or guest presenter. They are held at the Goddard Center for Performing Arts in Ardmore, Oklahoma, unless posted otherwise on this site.

     Current officers are Marion Sadler, President; Beverly Montgomery, Vice President (Programs); Consuelo Kaulkman, Vice President (Notification); Dr. Michele Evard, Secretary; Gale Holt, Treasurer; Susan Harrington, Computer Consultant and Newsletter Editor.

Marion Sadler, Guild President
     Marion Sadler is a creator of collages, pottery art, oil painting, pastel pieces in styles that range from expressionism to realism. Her works of art can be found in homes across the United States and England. Also an award-winning author, she's sold more than 2000 copies of her poetry/essay book .
     Currently, she serves as president of the Ardmore Art Guild. She's a past officer of Delta Kappa Gamma and served as president of Ardmore Writers' Guild for more than eight years.  She's listed in both Who's Who in Art and Who's Who in American Women. 
     As a retired art and music teacher, her mission is to see that all children study the arts and have the chance to become skilled in creativity and decision making; that they are fully developed in self-confidence and equipped for life as a contributing member of society.
